Case Number
Case numbers must be provided on recommendations for waiver of the two-year foreign residence requirement that HHS forwards to the U.S. Department of State.
Any cases now pending before HHS will be required to have this case number before an approval can be forwarded.
Applicants to HHS have the option of obtaining the case number before submitting the application, or waiting to obtain the case number after HHS makes its decision. It may take up to eight weeks to obtain a case number.
U.S. Department of State Procedures
