HHS Office of Global Health Affairs Mentioned in Council on Foreign Relations Report
The Office of Global Health Affairs within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services was cited as playing a pivotal role in U.S. Health Diplomacy world-wide in a report by the Council on Foreign Relations titled, “The Future of Foreign Assistance Amid Global Economic and Financial Crisis: Advancing Global Health in the U.S. Development Agenda.” The report discussed the Office’s role as a coordinating body for all U.S. Government Global Health Efforts and its close working relationship with many international organizations, including, the World Health Organization.
