Secretary Sebelius Meetings with Danish Health Minister

February 5, 2010 - Secretary Sebelius met Danish Minister of Health and Prevention Jakob Axel Nielsen to discuss health information technology and health care quality.  The Minister’s visit to the United States focused on health information technology and approaches to improving health care quality.  Secretary Sebelius and Minister Nielsen agreed that the two countries can benefit from one another’s experiences in these areas.  The Danish officials will follow U.S. efforts to promote meaningful use of electronic health records and to develop certification for e-health records.
