President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief Releases New Issue Brief on Working with Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations

February 12, 2007 - The Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator has announced the release of a new issue brief entitled "Working with Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations," part of a new series of publications designed to provide an overview of each intervention area within the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. 

Other documents in the series cover the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, public-private partnerships, strengthening supply-chain management, increasing the meaningful involvement of people who are living with HIV/AIDS, international cooperation, adult antiretroviral treatment, gender, and HIV counseling and testing.  Each issue brief contains examples of work supported by the Emergency Plan, information about its results, and lists of key resources.
