Webcasts of Sessions from the 2007 HIV/AIDS Implementers’ Meeting Now Available June 26, 2007 – Several sessions from the 2007 HIV/AIDS Implementers’ Meeting in Kigali, Rwanda, are now available for viewing by webcast. The four-day conference, jointly sponsored by the U.S. Government, the Government of Rwanda, and several international organizations, featured hundreds of presentations from HIV/AIDS program implementers around the world. The objectives of the meeting were to share and discuss lessons learned during the implementation of multi-sectoral HIV/AIDS programs, and to disseminate widely best practices for use in HIV/AIDS program implementation in the upcoming year. The topics in focus were: - Scaling up prevention, treatment, and care programs
- Building local capacity
- Ensuring consistent quality
- Coordinating among partners
- Identifying critical barriers
