Clancy, M.D., Participates in Panel Discussions at the Commonwealth Fund and Nuffield Trust 8th International Meeting to Improve Quality of HealthcareJuly 9, 2007 – Carolyn M. Clancy, M.D., Director of the HHS Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, will participate in two panel discussions at the Commonwealth Fund and Nuffield Trust 8th International Meeting to Improve Quality of Healthcare in Surrey, England, from July 13-15, 2007.
The first panel, titled “Briefing on the Current United Kingdom (U.K.) and U.S. Policy Contexts,” will focus on current issues concerning quality of care and how the coordination of care for people with chronic illnesses fits into the policy context.
The second panel, titled “Opportunities for Cross-National Learning: What Can the United States and UK Learn the Most from Each Other’s Experiences?” will focus on potential U.S.-U.K. collaborative studies that can advance practice and policy.
