Director of the HHS National Institutes of Health Director Brings Vision to France

November 13, 2007 - Today the Honorable Elias A. Zerhouni, M.D., Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), gave remarks at the Académie Nationale de Médecine in Paris, France, during its weekly general assembly. The Académie Nationale de Médecine's two main missions are to answer, at the request of the French authorities, all requests for information in the field of public health, and to contribute to the improvement and expansion of the medical sciences.

Dr. Zerhouni will also meet with the new French Minister of Health, the Honorable Roselyn Bachelot-Narquin.
