HHS Presents World AIDS Day Webinar

November 14, 2007 - On November 16, 2007, The Office of HIV/AIDS Policy (OHAP) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will sponsor a Webinar in preparation for World AIDS Day, which takes place every year on the First of December.

The Webinar will feature Anthony Fauci, M.D., Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the HHS National Institutes of Health; RADM Deborah Parham-Hopson, Ph.D., of the HHS Health Resources and Services Administration; and Kevin Fenton, M.D., from the HHS Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The target audience will be HHS grantees, and the discussion will focus on HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and research in the United States. Participants will have an opportunity to submit questions online, and may also submit questions in advance.
