November 19, 2007 - The fourth training on influenza preparedness and response for Central American health-care workers took place at the Regional Health-Care Training Center in Panamá City from November 11 to 17, 2007, with 50 students of diverse medical and public-health backgrounds from six countries. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is the prime sponsor of the Training Center, in partnership with the Ministries of Health of six Central American nations.
